healthcare reform

I'd rather deal with the big guy on top than the confusion on the bottom!!

Rhetoric is seldom productive. it can indeed be a vault for the truth but to often it takes on a life of it's!!! What you, Allen, are asking, is incredibly, no make that unspeakably complex. And you amazingly now some how want to trust a system that has a horrible track record. Abandoning traditional values and benchmarks while turning to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT to make sense of this is lunacy. I think changes are needed but the idea of what i understand single payer to be is terrifying. It puts toooooo much power in the hands of people who are subject to rule that is NEVER violated; "absolute power corrupts absolutely". It is like investing your retirement in one company such as oh say.............Enron, Tyco, BofA. Trusting a swilrling mass of nameless untethered bureaucrats is not my idea of wisdom. The same mind set that runs our public school system, post office, IRS will now be running YOUR health care. Noop, not for me. Just imagine the headaches you have dealing with your insurance provider multiplied thousands of times, while you are nearly powerless
