healthcare reform

I'd rather deal with the big guy on top than the confusion on the bottom!!

Rhetoric is seldom productive. it can indeed be a vault for the truth but to often it takes on a life of it's!!! What you, Allen, are asking, is incredibly, no make that unspeakably complex. And you amazingly now some how want to trust a system that has a horrible track record. Abandoning traditional values and benchmarks while turning to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT to make sense of this is lunacy. I think changes are needed but the idea of what i understand single payer to be is terrifying. It puts toooooo much power in the hands of people who are subject to rule that is NEVER violated; "absolute power corrupts absolutely". It is like investing your retirement in one company such as oh say.............Enron, Tyco, BofA. Trusting a swilrling mass of nameless untethered bureaucrats is not my idea of wisdom. The same mind set that runs our public school system, post office, IRS will now be running YOUR health care. Noop, not for me. Just imagine the headaches you have dealing with your insurance provider multiplied thousands of times, while you are nearly powerless

If a liberal decided to peek over the fence, eavesdropping on some conservative event or publication, what would he hear. "No i don't have to PC and pretend that i meant to say or she" (See...that's what i'm talking about sort of) He'd hear the same rage we hear when we eavesdrop on them. I must agree with Dennis Praeger eavesdropping isn't really an option for us. It is sort of like the making of genuine Peking Duck.....in that process the ducks are force fed 4 times a day for 15-20 days before they are "offed" for/to the dinner table.
Marshall McLuhan said years ago; and i'm quoting "the medium is the message" For that very reason i do NOT EVER put Scripture Text on playboy centerfolds. somehow the message would get lost i fear!!! Rage has become the message. We are trying to "outrage" each other!! Like the scene in Gran Torino where the two opposing gangs slowly pass each other. One brandishing a 38 special the other a automatic weapon. No one, NO ONE loves a good rant more than i do. that is not the answer brothers and sister, it just is NOT the answer. To quote, I believe, Stephanie Edwards. Stephanie is most clearly an ever so thoughtful version of what is out there.

"The modern-day Democrat party has been hijacked by fanatics: anti-American, anti-democratic, anti-free speech" which i much believe to be true, i must rest my case.

After 20000 plus hours of teaching preschoolers, i think my wife Rebecca has the answer. In those extremely rare occasions where there was a bit of a shouting match in her class room, she would begin speaking in a calm manner, and in short order, peace and reason were restored! My wife developed a very well deserved reputation for handling the "monsters" that had been expelled from 4 other schools.

May i suggest that her model is the model that will win in the end. Persistent, bullet-proof, documentation of what the "Left" is doing along with a smattering of humor.

I must admit that i'm haunted by some of my own postings because i do LOVE a good rant, love i tell ya!!! But i have indeed tried to color with humor! (humor)I really try to get in to what you all are saying, but by the time i get done, just want to crawl into bed, no make that ooze into bed!!

The fairly short of it all is that we'll catch more bee's with the one picture at the top than the other!!

Make no mistake about what i'm thinking (i can't get in trouble for what i think, can i.....?): the left is full of ignorance, they are insular, THEY ARE DEAD WRONG. Just not going to YELL quite as loudly or with as much ATTITUDE for a while at least.
